Part of the ongoing series Utopie Reattive, Frammenti Utopici explores the space between intuition and structure, where forms emerge through a process of observation, reaction, and material dialogue. Created on handmade Lokta paper, the work embraces the raw and unpredictable qualities of its support. I chose this material precisely because its irregular texture, visible fibers, and organic character resist complete control, allowing the surface to actively participate in the creative process.

Lines, marks, and floating forms unfold across the paper as traces of imagined relationships. Wool thread introduces moments of connection within this evolving landscape, linking fragments without imposing a fixed order. Rather than describing a specific place, the composition suggests a state of becoming—a field of possibilities where elements continuously shift between autonomy and interdependence.

The work reflects my interest in emergence, fragile systems, and the ways meaning can arise from seemingly unrelated parts. Here, utopia is not presented as an ideal destination but as a collection of fragments: provisional, open, and constantly transforming.
